Abuse of power

In this world everyone wants to be powerful doesn't matter he is a political person holding the leading position or a common man living in a country. Some people believe that more power gives people more freedom and allows them to live their life as they want. Somehow, I also agree that more powerful means we are capable of represent our thoughts without too much restriction. At least it's very much share that most of the people respect are fear the powerful people and rarely try to go against someone powerful and that can be the reason of people who want to be powerful.

It says that power comes to us with responsibility but most of us actually forget the responsibility when we get power and we almost forget why we actually tried to be powerful. Most of the people try to be powerful at the beginning to protect themselves and later protect the beloved people they have. And later Want it to do something good for the society as well as for the country with the power. Later they become selfish and try to use power for their own advantages and improve their lifestyle of their own as well as with their family and beloved people and the influence creates negative consequences for others. They wanted to create path for others, but they became obstacles for others. Humans are indeed complicated.

If I want to mention the abuse of power, then I think the most significant areas of power were the political power of previous government of my country. During the time the corruption was something like legal because if we want to know that corruption was happening and There were no steps from the government. It was like the person who tried to take steps against it might suffer at the end. It was because the anti-corruption unit was also corrupted. What could we expect something more from others.

Let's talk about the security system. In that time the active supporters of the government used to perceive all kinds of facilities, and they could do anything whatever they want even if it's not legal or violates those human rights. They could threaten people and demand money without any kind of hesitation like it was there right. They could silence the people when anyone tried to defy their orders. They could remain unpunished by raping, killing and other criminal activities. The criminals could run on the open road and the victim’s family need to hide themselves if they wanted to protect them. That's how worse the situation was.

At least every human wants to share their thoughts freely and in case of politics every human has the right to say something even if it's something against the government because it's the human right to criticize if government is not doing well. But at that time many people lost their precious lives just because they said something against the government in conversation, which was not so serious also. It was like the freedom of speech were snatched by the government. We could not discuss such a thing and people used to fear if they said something wrong with the government because nobody knew how danger would hunt then. It is unfortunate for them that they forget how powerful people can be if they blast. And later the leader was forced to run away to protect her life.
