They might, but the Alliance is careful to give them what they need in a manner that's safe for all.

He can talk to anyone he wants... so long as they're on the other side of the window or on the other side of the screen.

He can vent and rage and destroy things... and it means nothing because it can be mended or replaced.

He has food, he has water, he can excercise. He has a guaranteed air recycling system for his environment. He even has his choice of enrichment. The one thing he can't do is hurt anyone. Not even himself.

There's still a chance that he can learn how to play by the rules, after all.
