Suffice to say that if you live long enough, then you get to know the patterns of history. That much Destiny with a neon sign attached to Amatu is bound to lead to a cataclysm of some sort if he doesn't start adventuring soon.

Wraithvine knows that Paxdale [and a lot of surrounding countryside] could well pay the price for Amatu's inertia.
