The Knomiras are a philosophy unto themselves. Egocentric to the extreme, seemingly don't give a crap about what anyone else thinks of them, they have learned that if they make a scene, they get whatever they want.

And they've learned they can get away with it, which is worse.

Not very fond of plane travel either. Would that there was an easier way.
