I've been witness to enough BS to never go near Direct Debit ever again and encourage everyone I know to do likewise.
If it came to paying a loan by direct debit or traveling to another city once a month to slam cash down on a countertop in an office somewhere I would GO to that extent. It's been close to twenty years since the events detailed in the stories described here, and I'm still salty about it.
I will smile like a snake sizing up a mouse during their "DD is so much easier and convenient" chant and then... THEN... (mwa-haha) THEY will have to listen to the exact lengths me and mine went through with DD and why I'm never falling for it again, thankyouverymuch. For as long as I can tie them up in the process. I will talk to their manager like the worst of the worst of the Knomiras and get a firkin lawyer on my side if I have to.
There are certain things I deem to be the worst in all things created by God and Man, and DD is Numero Uno, baby.
