There are far too many managers/executives/CEO's who know absolutely nothing about the business end of the business.
Having a Bungee Manager in this case is actually preferable to having a Mosquito Manager. The latter will complain about everything they can possibly whine about without understanding any kind of nuance.
BTW - you should at least know how to make several meals out of readily available ingredients and know what the various terms are for cooking methods. It's a useful skill.
