The human was dragged into medical by their friends. Well, "dragged" is a bit of a strong word, considering that if the human really didn't want to go, they wouldn't have, but they weren't willing to risk injuring their friends by struggling too hard.
The problem? Hives. Bumpy, red, itchy hives, all over the human's body.
When questioned, they said "I'm allergic to stress." -- Anon Guest
"Look, I'm going to be fine," protested Human Hen, who was obviously not fine. "I just need you guys to clear my pills." Human Hen was covered in red, lumpy blotches, visible wherever their skin was. Since they were herded into Medical by a crowd of far more fragile crewmates.
Human Hen could fight their way out of the herd, but the action of doing so could cause the surrounding Havenworlders injury, so they shuffled along, red of face and complaining about everything rather than putting up a real fight. Medik S'kaa watched the show with thinly-veiled amusement.
"I'm okay," they said as the surrounding Geikha gently pushed them towards the scanner bed. "This is personally normal. I promise it's not deadly. It's not even infectious."
"So," said Medik S'kaa, knowing full well there would be a story rather than an answer. "What seems to be the problem?"
Several people talked at once. Their Human was suffering. Their human is wracked with a disfiguring ailment, can't you see? Their Human needs immediate relief. Their Human is clearly having a highly dangerous allergic reaction, they need help, STAT!
Human Hen sighed and rolled their eyes and let themself be laid carefully on the scanner bed. "It's fine, honest. I'll be okay just as soon as you guys--"
Their Human is lying to comfort us, ignore them. They need help! Help them!
S'kaa had had enough, and shooed the Geikha from Medical so she could run diagnostics. Not that she needed many diagnostics. "This looks like hives... are you sure it's not an allergic reaction?"
"It's not an allergy to any outside vector," sighed Hen. "If you want to use that term, then... I'm allergic to my own stress."
Ah. S'Kaa saw the indicator on their file that said, naturally anxious. "I suppose the meds you are looking for are stress modulators."
Now their affliction was augmented by a blush. "I miscalculated my carry-on supplies..."
That was the mistake that just kept on giving. For S'Kaa, it was giving her an anecdote she could share with her fellow Mediks for years to come and a good laugh.
"I can give you a temporary fixer, but it'll knock you out for the interim."
"Cool, I could use some sleep. Can you tell off my lizards for me? I really need my correct meds."
"I'll do that for you." S'Kaa administered the fixer, and monitored life signs for enough time to be sure it was the right stuff.
Next on her schedule, an informative lecture to the Geikha about listening to people who were concerned about their medication.
