My journey started early one cold morning it had to be around 40 degrees at the top of the Grand Canyon rim. Down I hiked each thousand feet down it became warmer and warmer until it was in the mid 80's by the time I reaches the canyon floor.
Oh it wasnt just a calm stroll the hiking included 30lbs of camera gear plus 20lbs of camping gear 10 miles through dry dusty sandy trails into the Grand Canyon to Havasupai Falls.
I took this image on the evening in Oct in front of Havasu Falls using my tripod.
The sun was just setting over the furthest mountain creating a bright orange glow.
