Faith Without Works
Faith can be defined as act of believing that what God has said is what He will definitely
But does it then mean that believing in God will solve every matter in a person's life? The answer is No!.
James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Looking at the above scripture, there is a place of we working else our faith in God will be useless and of no effect.
Yes it's true that God can do anything and everything but God has given us a place to work as well. This is the reason why God created everything that man would ever need before creating man. And when man was created, he was given the assignment to take care of the garden.
Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
It was very possible for God to be taking care of the garden but he left it to man so as to keep the man busy in life.
When we believe in the ability of God to do something for us, there is also a place of us to work. A student who believes in God to pass his or her exam but the student fails on his or her own part to read then that student's faith is dead. A man who is believing God for a job but never looks out for job opportunities then that person might remain jobless.
So beloved friends, while we believe in God, we must also ensure we play our own part to work.
