Another is lack of focus / struggling to focus and - at times - a lack of purpose. What's the point of all of this?

I can relate to this anytime when I've lost my drive.

Other than the Inktober drawings, nowadays I never start anything unless I get a proper idea or a good image in my head of what I'm doing, because without a muse, a proper drive, everything comes a burden, a chore that I'm not that good at doing or completing. But when I get a good idea and am on a drive I can always focus very well on that idea.

Inktober on the other hand is like schoolwork. (Years ago) I never was that good in school on those chores which I had no interest in but had to do. I always tried to do as little as possible or do it as late as possible and many times, because of that, I didn't have time to finish the chore or forgot to do it all together. But that's exactly why I need to do something that I sometimes even dislike doing. Inktober prompts can be so tricky and challenging but my mind is set that I have to do it. Why? To become better or just for fun. Although it's not fun all the time, It's kinda fun when I see the result.

P.S.
I love the creature you've drawn!
