Yes. People do tend to listen scientists. And believe in what they say. And appreciate their knowledge. And give lost and lots of money to them. There's a saying: "If you want to be a millionaire, be a scientist. If you want to be popular, specialize in virology or better yet, climate change." Scientist. No-one will ever come and say to you: "Science my ass, I know better."
