Just Thinking About A New Camera

I was thinking of buying myself a new camera. Or updating my existing one with new lenses. I'm not sure that I need more pixels, but it sure would be nice to get a new toy, and the lenses that I have, could be better.

I use autofocus a lot when I'm outside. And I'd like that to be fast. Like immediate. Faster than immediate! When I take macro photos, I use manual focus and I'm pretty content with the old camera and the lenses that I have.

I asked a bunch of stupid questions today at the local camera shop. New and used lenses and their prizes. And of course the actual camera. I have a Canon 550D and I'm 90% sure that if I buy a new one, it will be a Canon also. But as I'd like to photograph anything and everything, it's pretty hard to choose what I want the most, as I'm not prepared to use over 1000 euros.

Oh, I don't know. I want camera gadgets and new stuff, but do I need them? No. I don't NEED them, but it would be pretty neat to own a faster camera. A better lens. What can I say, I like to spy on people, but the slow autofocus on certain situations, is a definite giveaway out there on the streets.

If the autofocus would have been faster, you could have perhaps seen in this post, obviously with a different title, a lion eating a man in the wet main street of Tampere, Finland. But as it wasn't, instead of that awesome photo, you will get this snowy whatsitcalled. Alpine clematis. It didn't move. So I caught it.
