I'm a little confused by this banner selection. I mean we have a brand new Cyno Character Quest out at the same time as this banner's coming live but Cyno isn't on this banner. Instead Wanderer and Baizhu are. Neither of them are present for the new quest and they weren't part of the event either. Neither is Layla nor Beidou.
Faruzan was part of this banner just because she's tethered to Wanderer. There's actually a series of these guys. Faruzan is an Anemo support so she reruns anytime Wanderer or Xiao rerun. This is the same as Gorou whenever Itto reruns as he's a Geo support. Sara reruns for Ei as an Electro support. Another funny thing about this is that all three of these guys are archer characters with a skill that does some kind of AoE single hit of their element. I wonder if we'll get versions of these guys for the other elements.
Another weird thing about this is that Furina didn't rerun this time. The x.6 updates usually feature the rerun for the current region's Archon along with their Second Character Quest. I think because Furina's quest dives a little deeper into the story than the others (except for Venti) that miHoYo decided to stall it for much later (just like Venti) and so they didn't want to have her rerun when she wasn't getting her story. That said it'll be bad to keep her away for too long. She's a very desirable character so for just profit's sake they'd want to rerun her.
So I think they will for the next patch v4.7. We're already going to get the new character Clorinde and Sigewinne for sure and another older character Wriothesley is due for a rerun so I'm going to guess the next banner will be Clorinde and Furina with Sethos (a new character from Cyno's quest I mentioned above) and then Wriothesley with Sigewinne for the second half. This set up will work nicely with either Clorinde's Character Quest or an event based in Fontaine that can feature all of these characters, probably something to do with Meropide the prison since Wriothesley is the warden, Sigewinne is the nurse and Clorinde is an enforcer.
Anyway are you guys going for any of these current banner characters? Or are you going to wait for Clorinde, Sethos and Sigewinne?

I've been making topics here for a while now and I noticed that most people just want to talk about games in general. Reviews are about the gaming experience. But games can also have some very meaningful stories and some of those stories leave plenty of questions and parts left up to the imagination. That's what Hive Gaming Theories is about.
