You know last time when we had to fight Dottore, the man had the power of the Trilune which meant he could control all aspects of the planet including the passage of time. Yeah he was pretty tough. We had to get lucky, play off his pride, get in one good shot against the Moon Marrows that had been giving him his power and then also revive the Trilune Goddess to reclaim her power and then whip the man six ways from Sunday.
This time he's just a wayward ghost that managed to turn himself into a glitch in the matrix. If we beat him as the god with full authority over the planet, what hope did he think he had this time? So anyway his moves are weak and he attacks slowly and the threat he poses is nil. And the funny thing is he's also the new Weekly Boss. The last Weekly Boss was his Trilune form and the difference is unmistakeable. This new version is so much easier to fight than the original. He had so many annoying little mechanics before and it got overwhelming very quickly. But this time? He's got one really dangerous move and you can stop it in its tracks very quickly. After that, he can't really do much. (even less so in this storymode version since you automatically heal if you do die but normally you'll come into this with a decent team)
The preceding sequence of fighting our way into Sumeru City though was awesome. These devs really know how to make fun combat sections and it was nice seeing the NPCs we'd gotten to know through older stories now fighting alongside us.
Afterwards though, it was a very drawn out hour long farewell section and they kinda made the story all about Collei since the story's bookended by her. She even delivers the last line which is all about letting go of her old self and moving forward as the new her, stronger and surrounded by friends. What did this have to do with the actual plot we just foiled though? I feel like Collei had a separate story that was just spliced into this one. You know what it's like? In the most recent Wuthering Waves story before the collaboration with Cyberpunk, they had Act V of Lahai-Roi and it was bookended by Hiyuki who also barely had anything to do with the main story. I wonder if this is Mihoyo copying off of Kuro. It'd be funny considering how much Kuro has already copied off of Mihoyo. Act V's main story was actually the plot to the Nod-Krai Archon Quest.
Anyway finally done with this. Now we just gotta wait for the update and Sandrone's resurrection story!
