I'm grateful to be part of this community and again i want to share with u on how i made this beautiful choker necklace for myself ❤️
At dawn,It rained cat and dog at where i stay it rained as if it wasn't going to stop and a result of that, i had to stay back from school. I thought it was going to be fun at first buh gradually i became so bored an alone. I had a weak battery power on my phone and slept twice already within few hours.
I thought of what do do with my time because the distance to the next lecture was still far and as usual i decided to beads because it's what i do for fun. Even though I wasn't so good at beading, i just loved seeing myself doing them because it's pretty.
I thought about making a necklace choker because it fits into the neck perfectly and it has a unique test..
Unlike me, I'd go for less shiny colours but today i decided to choose the yellow and blue colour just for fun .
These were the materials i used in making the necklace :
- yellow seed beads .
- blue seed beads .
- fishing line .
- necklace hook .
- beading needle .
- scissors .
These are the steps i used in making it :
Firstly , i cut my fishing line into my desired length and inserted two of my beading needle into two sides of the fishing line .
I then inserted four yellow beads into the needle
I used one of my needles and went through the last yellow bead and tied it properly.
I picked four of my blue beads, 2 beads into each needle and dragged it down to meet the first yellow bead
I picked one blue bead into one needle and used the other needle to go through the bead and the in tied it properly
Again, i picked my yellow bead, two beads into each needle and into the fishing line
I still picked another yellow bead using the two needles to go through it and then i tied it .
Again i repeated the blue colour bead and tied to properly. And this was what i got from those processes .
Joyfully it was getting easier for me, all i had to do was to keep repeating each step gradually using the two colors respectively. I got to a certain point and this was what i got
I got so excited and motivated that it was turning into something pretty, i kept doing it and measuring it till it got to the size of my neck deducting half an inch for the necklace hook.
I picked my hook
i inserted them both into the two ends
And lo , my necklace was ready and as at that time it was time for lectures i just wore it along side my cloth regardless of the color because I'm proud of my work .
Yeahh, this pretty girl was off to school 😌🥰
