Throwback experience during Community Development Service at Agro Allied Farm//Experiencia retrospectiva durante el Servicio de Desarrollo Comunitario en la granja Agro Allied.

Hello everyone, it's a throwback experience during National Youth Service Corps Community Development Service (CDs) which is one of the four cardinal core of scheme, at Agro Allied Farm, it was enough at first until the main work began. At first I participated along other members in clearing the farm for Corn planting which was part of community service for that day, certainly, I enjoyed eating corn 🌽 of course, it's my favorite who knows maybe that could be the reason the reason we were asked to go get involved in the farming processes in order to know the actual work involve in what we have been enjoyed eating. As a village boy, I would mind starting the work of course I used to follow my mom to farm

Before then, I'm going to share some of the benefits of participating in the NYSC Community Development Service group, it has different interesting group with unique assignment, I wasn't surprise as my name fell among environmental, just as its name implies, there are various benefits of joining particular Community Development Service Group which includes networking opportunities that's having an opportunity to network with new friends, new people and building connections with both professionals and organizations. Another outstanding benefits of participating in community services is career development to improve personal skills, leadership skills and teamwork skills which are essential for not just today but for the future.

Still at the farm, the company brought us already harvested corns, I knew that was one of the ways to motivate us to do the work the more, it came more funny when some Corps members received the some corns how they which were initially forming weak and tired became very active, I became more excited because they have served me with a lot of corn to be eating for some weeks, that's simply means that I'm going to save some money from buying corn 🌽 every evening because it became more stressful when they took us to another farm to harvest pepper whereby moving from one pepper tree to another was stressful but fun.... from there I learnt pepper tree don't die that easily, I saw some pepper that was planted two years ago, we were also given some good quantities of pepper which I enjoyed for some months. It was an amazing experience that day working on the farm together with my colleagues.

Hola a todos, estaes a experiencia durante el Servicio de Desarrollo Comunitario (CD) del Cuerpo Nacional de Servicio Juvenil, que es uno de los cuatro pilares fundamentales del programa, en la granja Agro Allied. Al principio fue suficiente, hasta que comenzó el trabajo principal. Al principio participé junto con otros miembros en la limpieza de la granja para la siembra de maíz, que era parte del servicio comunitario de ese día. Por supuesto, disfruté comiendo maíz 🌽, es mi favorito. Quién sabe, tal vez esa sea la razón por la que nos pidieron que participáramos en los procesos agrícolas, para conocer el trabajo real que implica lo que hemos disfrutado comiendo. Como chico de pueblo, no me importaba empezar a trabajar, ya que solía acompañar a mi madre al campo

Antes de eso, voy a compartir algunas de las ventajas de participar en el grupo de Servicio de Desarrollo Comunitario del NYSC, que cuenta con diferentes grupos interesantes con tareas únicas. No me sorprendió que mi nombre cayera en el ámbito medioambiental, tal y como su nombre indica, hay varias ventajas de unirse a un grupo concreto de Servicio de Desarrollo Comunitario, entre las que se incluyen oportunidades para establecer contactos, es decir, la oportunidad de relacionarse con nuevos amigos, nuevas personas y crear vínculos tanto con profesionales como con organizaciones. Otra ventaja destacada de participar en servicios comunitarios es el desarrollo profesional para mejorar las habilidades personales, de liderazgo y de trabajo en equipo, que son esenciales no solo para el presente, sino también para el futuro.

Todavía en la granja, la empresa nos trajo maíz ya cosechado. Sabía que era una forma de motivarnos para trabajar más, y fue aún más divertido cuando algunos miembros del Cuerpo recibieron el maíz y pasaron de estar débiles y cansados a estar muy activos. Me emocioné aún más porque me dieron mucho maíz para comer durante varias semanas, lo que simplemente significa que voy a ahorrar algo de dinero al no tener que comprar maíz 🌽 todas las tardes, ya que se volvió más estresante cuando nos llevaron a otra granja a cosechar pimientos, donde pasar de un pimiento a otro era estresante, pero divertido... Allí aprendí que los pimientos no mueren tan fácilmente, vi algunos que se habían plantado hacía dos años y también nos dieron una buena cantidad de pimientos, que disfruté durante varios meses. Fue una experiencia increíble trabajar ese día en la granja junto con mis compañeros.
