Health food is on most parent's priority list but how do we get those little precious ones to actually eat the healthy snacks we provide.
My first suggestion is for your child to choose a plate in the shop they absolutely love; like their latest cartoon character they enjoy watching on television. Match it with a tumbler and cutlery set.
My second suggestion is to actually use it. Yep... you read that right! You wouldn't believe how many parents don't use plates but simply slap a sandwich together and give it to their child in the hand.
My third suggestion is to fill that plate with color. Lots and lots of color! An explosion of colors... mix fruits and vegetables so vibrant your child simply can't resist but touch it and eat it. Pop a few crackers on it if you like.
My fourth suggestion is to make an identical plate of food for yourself and have an eating competition. Who will finish first and show them that you eat exactly the same foods. No special treatment!
A simple 4 step guide that might just trigger your children to want to eat those colorful fruits and vegies.
Children learn by example so teach them well.
