The Greater Sudbury Police Service confirms that a woman and a child were transported to the hospital to treat wounds allegedly inflicted by a knife man in the Michaels Craft Store area on the Marcus Road.
The suspect was also taken to hospital for injuries he allegedly inflicted. He was placed in custody.
The severity of the injuries is not known at the moment, as is the reason for the assault.
Police were called to the scene around 3:45 pm on Monday.
