When we have to choose which professional path to follow, in the middle of adolescence, we see very difficult to get the right one; in many cases, we solve it almost by casting lots. We study a Vocational Training or a career, without having any idea if we will finish the studies and, if we do, we will work in the professional outings that these offer. No less important is to have no idea if we will like the chosen job.
For all these reasons, I find it charming to see how many - let me include myself -, by chance, we are performing professions for which we had not prepared ourselves, at first, and which, now, we feel as the true vocation of our lives.
Of course, I do not want to ignore a prevailing reality today, opposite to what was said before: many workers do not feel fulfilled. It influences the fact that temporary contracts abound; in these conditions it is very difficult to "fall in love" with a trade.
A huge stumbling block to feel comfortable in a collective work is that there are vague employees, weirs and bad companions, concerned just to enjoy the advantages of the position, forgetting that there are also obligations. It could be said that they are the black sheep that, unfortunately, tarnish the prestige of any company, public or private.
Perhaps it is this generalized disenchantment that makes me focus more on the vocations, innate or acquired, of another part of the population. All the companies should boost the work motivation because it is basic, both for the project to work, and for the worker to rise, every day, with renewed enthusiasm.
