No puddles of tears, no flowers that die
No erroneous words, “he was a great guy”
No bible verses, not “in a better place”
No hollow achievements, no saving face

No closing of streets, no fancy hall
No honours bestowed, no monuments tall
No lifeline cut short, not “taken too soon”
No lies on reflection, no musical tune

No Facebook mania, not sharing my wall
No tributes in poems, for those who recall
No mark of respect, new friends to appear
No travelling journeys, that shed a tear

When my time comes, one thing I ask
My dying wish, from a twister outcast
Read my poetry, my message to all
Lessons on paper, my inner stonewall
