Taiwanese men's singles champion Chou Tien Chen carved out a great history after winning the 2019 Indonesia Open tournament which took place at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, July 16-21.
Chou Tien Chen climbed to the championship podium after defeating Anders Antonsen (Denmark) 21-18, 24-26, 21-15 on Sunday (7/21/2019).
The fierce duel was settled by Chou within 1 hour 31 minutes.
Thus, Chou officially listed himself as the first Taiwan men's singles who was able to win the 2019 Indonesia Open title.
Meanwhile, Antonsen repeated the achievements of his three seniors, namely Peter Gade, Jan O Jorgensen, and Viktor Axelsen by becoming runner-up to the Indonesia Open.
