So few women even know that naturally their cycles would be synchronized with the moon. It can vary from woman to woman, but is still the woman's relationship to the moon. For most ovulation is at the New Moon and menstruation at the Full Moon, or vice versa. That's how it was for me until I had to have surgery on my uterus to remove a fibroid. After that I had 2 periods per month and also was out of phase with the moon. I had a distance healing treatment once and then for a few months I was back in phase with the moon, and menstruating just once a month. But then it faded and for some reason I didn't call him back to schedule another appointment. (In hindsight it puzzles me the many times I didn't follow up to continue things that were benefiting me.) The elderly healer has long ago died, but the experience confirmed for me that there is a spiritual/energetic basis to our connection to cycles of the moon as menstruating women.
