Hello dear Hive Gaming readers, I'm back with a TFT post after a one-week break. I'm mostly playing Albion Online these days, but I still play TFT occasionally. I love the competitive nature of this game. You fight against 7 other players and the one with the best strategy comes first. Or the one who plays the most meta composition hahaha. Anyway, let's move on to the game.
There are a few compositions that have been meta in the game for a while. That's why I keep playing them and this game I had to choose one of them. I usually don't choose when there are augments that force you to play something like this. Get the guild crown and play. Buy and play the Bruiser crest. These aren't really my thing. Especially if they're not super powerful, so I got "Trade Sector", which is an augment that gives you a free refresh at the beginning of each round. The logic is simple, use the free refresh and try to make your champions 3 stars.
It didn't take me long to decide what to play. Finding Nomsy this early in the game can win you the game if you are a bit lucky. I sold Zac and bought Nomsy and I was able to put him on my board because I was level 4. As you know, dragons take up 2 slots.
In the early game, especially after I found Nomsy, I won all my battles, it was great for me. The only problem is that I don't know which champions will be my tank in this composition. I guess we will find out in the coming minutes. As for the augment choice, Nomsy needs health regeneration. This augment heals for 12% of his damage. This will come in handy in the future, considering that my Nomsy will deal damage like an atomic bomb.
Sometimes you can have such ridiculous opponents in this game. It's only round 3-3 but my opponent is level 6 and has 2 star Sylas, 2 star Seraphine, 2 star Mage Zyra and 2 star Taliyah. Dude WTF?! This ended my 5-win streak.
Wolves troll me a lot in terms of items, but next turn I get Nomsy 2 stars and everything is fine. All I need is to level up and put Sylas and Zyra on the board. Then I will be very strong.
The last augment choice was a bit challenging for me. So "Second Wind II" is a safe choice here, but I could have renewed it. I didn't want to risk it and I chose it. The feature of the augment is that it replenishes 60% of your champions' missing health 10 seconds after the battle starts. So even if your champions' health is very low, it can suddenly increase above half. Pretty cool, huh?
Look at this damage! He's practically carrying it all by himself. He has 2 items yet. He will be much more powerful soon. By the way, my strategy was normally to level up to level 8 and spend my money there, but I was running low so I decided to finish my gold here and make my champions 3 stars. I already found 6 Nomsy!
After spending some gold I found these items from the treasure dragon, aren't they awesome? They have everything I wanted. Speaking of items, in this composition, your carries are Nomsy, Zyra and Seraphine. Nomsy deals burst damage. Zyra has more regular damage and Seraphine shields your champions to help them survive more. Nomsy's best items are Infinity Edge, Jeweled Gauntlet and Spear of Shojin. You can give Zyra both attack damage and ability power items. As long as her Whisper buff is active, she will be good anyway.
That's what I'm talking about! I got 2 powerful carries. And I only need 2 for Nomsy 3 stars. Oh I almost forgot to mention that there are 3 different versions of Nomsy and it changes every game. Cannoneer, Mage or Evoker. This game was Nomsy Evoker. The composition is different for each Nomsy but the items are the same. I would say the most powerful version is the Mage or Evoker.
Damn Lee Sin composition. For now he is beating me because I'm making a mistake with my lineup. After Nomsy becomes 3 stars he will have no chance against me.
Boom, baby! There's Nomsy 3 stars. I gotta admit, that was a little lucky. But I deserved it anyway. Then I went up to level 8 and put Skarner on the board, which made me 4 fighters. That means my champions are much more tanky. So this is the final version of my composition. 4 Bruiser, 4 Evoker, 2 Whisper and a Dragon.
What's the problem, Lee Sin carry dude? You can't beat me anymore? Nomsy now destroys you before you can kill him? 10k damage, and that's instant damage.
The last two was me and that guy who made all your champions 3 stars. I'm not kidding. Seriously, take a look. He has Diana 3 stars, Braum, Lillia and Rakan are 3 stars. He's this close to making all his other champions 3-stars. This kid is crazy.
Did you see that? He made Olaf and Nasus 3-stars, and the only champion that's not 3-stars is Leona. Dude, that's illegal. But I can still beat him because Nomsy hits like an atom bomb.
Before our last battle, he went to level 8 and put a Nilah on his board. But it wasn't enough to save him. I beat him exactly the way I wanted and he went from 21 HP to 0 and died hahaha. Still, I have to admit that it wasn't easy. I almost lost and that would have sucked.
