Hi, guys!
Yesterday, I finished compiling the lore for my new book series, and it's already the size of a full-length book, and it's definitely going to grow even bigger. So I have a very solid foundation to comfortably write the entire series. Now I'm going to go over the political systems of my countries in the same detail, and then move on to the characters' biographies. Once I've written all of that down, the plot will simply start to come together, simply because everyone will be alive, everyone will have their own motivations, no one will be a cardboard cutout, everyone will have a life inside, and it will become clear what they want, even the minor characters. And the plot will simply flow.
There's a slight problem with the map, because I still haven't gotten used to the graphic editors that make them. But I'll have to come up with something, because my universe is very complex, and without a map, I'll get lost in it myself. So I'll have to come up with something, because otherwise I simply won't know where my characters are hanging out. And I needed to know everything down to the smallest detail. After all, everything is set against the backdrop of a military conflict, so I need to understand exactly who's going where, so a map is a must-have. But I hope I'll somehow manage to pull this off.
For now, I'm brewing myself some chicory and hoping that everything will just work out, because this is a huge project, and I need to at least not drown in it. Because the scope is colossal, and I need to pull it off. And then I'll sit down and write the entire series. And hope that I can do it powerfully enough for the publisher to take notice of what I've done.
So, we're working, and we hope that everything will work out.
Have a great day, everyone!
