Hi, guys!:)
Today morning I want to talk a bit about my sources of inspiration, and I will be really happy if in the comments below you will tell me something about how you do it.
I think every artist has his personal "magic box" where creative ideas come from. In the beginning of our career it's mostly copying other artists artworks, but then slowly personal style appears, and personal ideas come to life. Sometimes it's a quite stressful process, artists tend to be really critical to hemselves, but sometimes it also happens natural.
As for me, creativity is a "muscle" as any other muscle of our body. And it needs periodical loads to function normally. That's why sometimes even if I have no mood to draw at all I anyway try to do some sketches from imagination, just to keep myself in a good shape. So, where I get my creative ideas?
- From my goodnight time. When I go to bed and lie there in the dark my brain starts giving me different ideas that I can fulfill tomorrow if I'll remember them. So it happened he other night, and I hope I'll be able to show what came to me till the end of this day. I really love the idea, but I still need to see if it'll work, it's a kind of quest:)
- Artbooks. Looking through them, collecting ideas in my head, blending them together. And then all of a sudden from this mix inside my head something new appears, and I already can fix it on paper/my tablet.
- Books and movies. Wen I read my imagination works especially actively. And of course later, if I catch the shape inside me, I also can depict it. Or at least try to depict it.
How about you, guys? Where your creativity lives?
I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)
Love, Inber
