Hi, guys!
Today I am writing a post a little late, as my life is completely turned around. As expected, I gradually stop doing the million things I planned for myself, but I still hope that I can do it. It just needs a little more organization.
This weekend I read that another course is about to begin, this time in sketching, taught by the same instructor who is teaching me the basics of illustration. How not to sign up? The big plus is that I can pay for it now at a discount, and try to get through later when I have a little more time (which seems unlikely to me, in fact). I do not yet know exactly how I will proceed, but I would like to take the course now, for a more complete immersion in the material.
Tomorrow I will have my first skateboarding practice and I really like that. And I'm very worried, because my skills are going to zero. But he will hope that the coach will be good and will be able to quickly put me on the board.
In fact, I believe that I have not yet fully entered the work rhythm, and that I can do much more. I just haven't checked it yet. There are also pluses: I get very tired, and therefore go to bed earlier than usual and sleep quite well. Given the state of my psyche, this can even be called an achievement.
I waited until my muscles were strong enough after I returned to stretching, and now I plan to expand this segment of my training. The same coach leads the pylon the next hour in the same gym. Not a strip, but acrobatics. It is my dream to have a strong body and be able to do tricks on the pole. Here, I'll start next week :)
For last two days I had no new drawings, but I can show you sketching task. I needed to do a tonal sketch, separate for line, own and falling shadows, and separate for ambient occlusion. Here:
And continuation of my fantasy book:)
-And you are not as simple as I thought, -the owner of the tavern turned to the magician.
-If you say that I decided to cut off the concentration of your friends, it was not difficult.
-Well, let's see how difficult it will be for you now.
The priests fell silent, scattered in the corners with a ball of fire that exploded in the center of their circle, and then a terrible howl cut through the silence. Ursula dropped to her knees, arching in unnatural movements, her skin rapidly becoming furry.
-Well, okay, now I understand, - Lars said annoyingly and spat on the floor of the cave, - I could have guessed.
When the woman completed the transformation, the friends heard a sound, as if someone was running at full speed, and, jumping over their heads, a second huge werewolf landed in front of them.
Ursula jumped as well, two giant predators colliding in the air and rolling across the cavern floor, ripping apart each other's fur and flesh.
-I have not seen each other for a long time, Ursula…. - Lars discerned in a roar. Here's how ... So, here's a personal showdown.
The druid suddenly felt his own blood boil. The smell spreading through the cave fogged up consciousness, drove me crazy. The smell of blood, wolf blood, the heat of the hunt.
I wanted to surrender to this feeling to the end, to throw everything out to the bottom. A gray haze enveloped the young man, a huge dire-wolf emerged from it. Another chilling howl cut through the rocks, echoing off the walls. The moon itself heard this sad animal song.
The temptation to rush into the fight between the two werewolves was almost irresistible, but Lars forced himself to stop with a huge effort of will. The blood throbbed wildly in the temples, all reflexes were at the limit. But this is their personal, it is not his. Well, there are still priests.
The dire-wolf hurled the worshipers with such fury that even the paladins chose to take a few steps back. Lars killed with a blow of a powerful paw, twisted his necks, pulled heads from his shoulders with his teeth, roared so that the walls shook, standing on the body of another defeated enemy, he threw up a wolf's head, going into a piercing howl. Only he could not approach the chief priest, the force field around him constantly threw the wolf back.
Damian noticed that Jane was about to, apparently, rush to the druid for help - as if she was needed here, and caught her by the elbow, stopping her.
-Do not climb, you will fall under the distribution, -he said softly, and suddenly released the girl's hand, bending in half. The rogue turned, wanted to say something, but only opened her mouth in amazement.
The elf straightened up again, and suddenly the eyes of the magician were clouded with a black veil. He was breathing heavily, twitching slightly, as if in convulsions. Then Jane saw the elf thrust out his hand with a sharp movement. Black sparks escaped from his fingers, then the magician clenched his hand into a fist and jerked his hand up.
See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
