Hi, guys!
Another day like all the previous ones. They all mixed up in one big lump, in which it is no longer possible to find a beginning and an end.
Today I have no way to contact my mother, because in Kyiv and the region there is a round-the-clock curfew for the next few days. We are not entirely sure why exactly, but we really hope that this is the beginning of the end of the horror that we have been enduring for almost a month now. However, this does not mean that I worry about my mother less. I'm really scared.
I don’t remember if I talked about this on my blog, but at the moment she is in the blockade zone in the Kiev region, from which she could not leave, because she has a huge number of animals in her care, only more than twenty dogs. There are no sirens, but the house is shaking from the bombings.
I know that every publication of the last week I promise that I will start creating again and show what I have done, and today I have almost coped with myself. Another piece of good news came out of the blue.
The evening before the day the war started, I lay in my bed placing an order for new sketch markers. I wanted to try a new firm and I wanted to cheer myself up. The order was not very large, but there must have been a lot of interesting things. Of course, he did not come, because the next morning at five in the morning Kyiv began to be bombed.
Now twenty days have passed, and today I received a message from the company in which I placed the order. They wrote that they are resuming their work and are ready to send me markers. To be honest, I was delighted. It's like a piece of normal life has returned. Of course, I still can't be sure6 when they will arrive, but still. Small shops are reopening, which means our economy will hold on.
Glory to Ukraine!
See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
