Hi, guys!
Today I start the day again with a walk with the dog, and then I need to prepare for the next non-working week, which will be quite difficult for me. I need to film a lot of work videos and read several books in order to make reviews on them. Today's night walk, then I will need to drop by the post office, have coffee with the dog, go for a walk with them. I want to walk two laps around the lake today. Yesterday we walked one today, we'll walk two. I'll slowly expand my walks, and tomorrow morning I want to go for a walk. training, I hope I can do it Because for several weeks now I have been wanting to resume playing sports, but I just can’t do it this week, I want to do it more decisively and I hope I can do it because I’ve been going to restore everyone for several months now and it still doesn’t work out. Yesterday I went grocery shopping, bought home something to eat and I hope that this will also work out now I’ll also write a plan for today, it won’t be very big, well, I need to restore all those moments that were asked for in the previous few weeks, so we’ll restore them and hope that I’ll be able to stick to the plans which I compiled for myself. I won’t make it too complicated right away because it’s clear that I won’t be able to peel off Tezza and edit books so easily, but I need to change it completely so that my plan includes all those activities that have fallen out over the past few months, because it’s no longer possible to ignore them and I need to return to them normally so that they too become the happiness of my life again, because if I continue to focus so much only on editing, life will resemble a complete house, and this is definitely something that I can’t afford
In truth, there are still a great many things I need to fix, and I’m really looking forward to my therapy session on Tuesday—a chance to talk with my therapist again and continue making adjustments to my life. Right now, I’m living from one session to the next: we address certain issues during our meetings, and I spend the following two weeks trying to integrate those changes into my daily life. Actually, having a session every two weeks works perfectly for me; things are going reasonably well. If the sessions were more frequent, they’d be almost pointless, as I wouldn’t have enough time to put what we discuss into practice. With this spacing, however, everything is working out quite well. Now, I also need to start working with some instructional materials—books on the craft of writing—to better understand how to structure my own book. I enjoy these kinds of study sessions; they help me hone my writing skills and provide a deeper grasp of the technical aspects of my project. Of course, this requires time, so I need to reorganize my daily schedule to figure out how to balance everything effectively. It’s actually quite difficult to pull myself away from the editing process—which I’d happily do from morning till night—but I realize that wouldn’t be the most efficient approach. I need to work very deliberately, page by page, rewriting the entire manuscript from start to finish until it becomes a polished, engaging, and well-edited text. This means slowing down. I have to focus on each page and each chapter individually, reading through the text thoroughly—it’s not something that can be rushed, and I simply have to accept that the process will be slower for now.
Of course, I’m really eager to have the first drafts in hand and start writing the second—and eventually the third—book. Ideally, I’d love to have the entire series written already, but that’s not something that can be done quickly. So, I need to be patient and focus on making the text truly beautiful—thoroughly proofread and polished from every angle. I have a feeling this series will become my magnum opus, so there’s no need to rush; I need to focus on each page, then each sentence, and even the specific phrasing used by each character. I’m preparing for a long process—a lengthy editing phase, followed by an extensive review period with my beta readers. I really hope my previous beta readers—who did such a great job with my last project—will agree to work on this one too. That said, I have to be prepared for the possibility that they might decline; this book is quite heavy, emotionally speaking, and not everyone would even want to read it, let alone commit to editing and refining it with me. Still, I’m hopeful that they’ll say yes! In the meantime, I’m off to grab some coffee and take the dogs for a walk. As always, have a wonderful day, everyone!
