Steem and SBD prices seem to be down again as compared to US Dollars.
The biggest question that some people have about Steemit is: is it going to survive?
I am not at any level to determine if Steemit will survive the test of time. My opinion though is that Steemit has created a new model for social networks. We have to remember that Steemit is relatively new and they are just now designing and deploying new services like SMT's (Smart Media Tokens) and communities. Even though it is fairly new, Steemit is a rising start among web sites worldwide. Not only that but very large populated countries are catching on to the Steemit Fever like India, the USA, and the UK. This is all great news for the growing Steemit.com community.
So my personal opinion is that YES, Steemit.com will survive and thrive as they expand their services.

Now, the question still stands, what do we do with a low price of STEEM?
The MEDIAN price today is $ 3.33.
What I would do is BUY more STEEM!
In the stock market and commodities market, it is know among investors that if the price is low and the investment is good, you BUY!
If the STEEM price goes below 3.10, I will try to buy STEEM again. I have not had much luck as some exchanges do not accept credit cards. Changelly used to accept CC for STEEM, but that no longer works for me. I hate buying some miniscule portion of 1 BTC to then trade for STEEM. Do you of any other more direct form of acquiring STEEM with FIAT US Dollars?
