I also had to do my research on the community and i found something very interesting. I found reasons to own a blog on steemit.

I like cartoons too. I love Aquaman of DC comics

because he's durable and i like pineapples because they are sweet, tall and unique so that's how i coined durablepineapple for myself.
Honestly I'm happy to be in this community. I have seen a reason to be better and build up myself.steemit is making me understand that some things aren't worth it while some others are pieces of shit

On hearing that steemit is a open source platform, i searched and i found zappl,dtube,steepshot,dsound et cetera and the upcoming steempress.io.
But honestly this is cool. I'm very happy
I'm really happy to be part of this community.
Contributing and interacting

They put on me on telling me about the platform and today i just discovered that python was also an open source platform like steemit.
I stumbled upon an article where @intelliguy was talking about steemit and calling @goodkarma to an interactive discussion
