脡sta interesante pel铆cula comienza con la narraci贸n de la protagonista hablando un poco sobre la inexistencia de las buenas personas en el mundo. Bajo la narraci贸n vemos a varios adultos mayores y varias mujeres que les tra铆an bandejas con medicinas a todos ellos, quienes estaban sentados en sus sillas s贸lo existiendo el uno con los otros. Una de las enfermeras va a la habitaci贸n de una se帽ora que est谩 sentada en su silla, muestran la hab铆a donde sal铆a la foto de un hombre m谩s joven con barba, el cual minutos m谩s adelante se ve entrando al lugar que parece ser un centro de cuidado de abuelos. Al entrar, la recepcionista mira al guardia como sabiendo lo que va a pasar, t de inmediato el guardia se levanta, el tel茅fono del hombre cae al suelo y empieza a pelearse con 茅l para poder entrar. Enfermeros grandes van a ayudar al guardia y logran retenerlo contra el piso entre todos.
Cambian de escena a un tribunal, donde el hombre est谩 atestiguando que su madre no deber铆a estar en un asilo y que en primer lugar ella no quer铆a ir, de no ser por una mujer llamada Marla, quien aparentemente la forz贸 a ir al asilo y subast贸 la casa y se cobra las ganancias. El juez dice que es una cuidadora de confianza recomendada hasta por 茅l mismo y cuando el hombre se queja de que no lo dejan tan siquiera ver a su mam谩, la mujer pide permiso para hablar y dice que a la se帽ora le diagnosticaron demencia y deben hacer lo que ella necesite para mejorar y no lo que ella desee, como quedarse en su casa sola y sin cuidados.
Marla pide que se restrinjan las visitas de su hijo y el juez acepta, a lo que Marla se va con una sonrisa triunfadora en el rostro. Afuera saluda a una mujer que la esperaba en el auto y le dice que sab铆a que ganar铆a el caso, pero detr谩s de ella ven铆a su demandante, que la insulta y le escupe en la cara por mentir y arruinar su vida, pero Marla responde muy molesta que s贸lo est谩 dolido ya que una mujer le gan贸 el caso y luego de amenazarlo de vuelta se va en el auto a su oficina en donde se sirve un caf茅 y observa una pared llena de fotos de los ancianos que cuida, y marca la foto de la madre del hombre al que le acaba de ganar en juicio. En una llamada con un hombre llamado Sam, le informa que uno de sus clientes muri贸 por lo que hay una nueva vacante en el asilo, ella se enoja por tener que devolver el dinero a los herederos, pero le ofrece dinero para que Sam le de la vacante a ella para buscar un cliente y meterlo al asilo, hacen negocio y ella arranca la foto del hombre que muri贸 y la tira a la basura.
Luego se va con una doctora, le comenta que est谩 buscando un nuevo cliente y la doctora le ofrece informaci贸n de un muy buen cliente pero a cambio le pide acciones en el asilo. Accede y le dan informaci贸n sobre una mujer llamada Jennifer, que ten铆a buena salud pero presentaba s铆ntomas de p茅rdida de memoria y no ten铆a familiares vivos, con buen seguro y vive sola. Marla se emociona y luego busca m谩s informaci贸n por su lado en una biblioteca.
Su compa帽era empieza a seguir a Jennifer y a investigarla m谩s a fondo, dando con que tiene bastante dinero, se cuida sola y tiene una vida completamente activa, a lo que se interesan mucho m谩s en la vida de Jennifer y le dicen a la doctora que se las entregue como cliente.
Van al juzgado, la doctora miente diciendo que la se帽ora no puede cuidarse y que deben ponerla bajo los cuidados de Marla, el juez acepta y le hace la petici贸n y Marla fingiendo dudar de su decisi贸n, dice que s铆 la va a cuidar y firman todos los papeles para acoger a Jennifer en el asilo.
Mientras que Jennifer est谩 en su casa tomando un t茅, tocan a su puerta y confundida camina a ver qui茅n es y en la puerta est谩 Marla, que le pide un momento explic谩ndole que es colega de su doctora y le entrega el papel con la orden de tutor铆a. La se帽ora entra por sus lentes y Marla se percata de que la casa es bastante lujosa. Jennifer sale confundida diciendo que no entend铆a y al Marla explicarle que ahora, sin su consentimiento, es tutora de ella. Jennifer se burla de la situaci贸n y niega necesitar ayuda, pero Marla le dice que la acompa帽e mientras "arreglan su situaci贸n" y le dice que se meter谩 en problemas si no lo hace, Jennifer ve polic铆as fuera de su casa y decide irse sin ganas a recoger sus cosas s贸lo para no tener problemas mientras arregla el mal entendido.
Jennifer se va de su casa, Marla le arrebata las llaves y las reciben en el asilo con globos y todo el personal, Jennifer en estado de shock y Marla feliz por lograr su cometido. Cierran las puertas del asilo y comienza la nueva experiencia de Jennifer en un lugar al que obligaron a ir.

This interesting film begins with the narration of the protagonist talking a bit about the non-existence of good people in the world. Under the narration we see several elderly people and several women bringing trays of medicine to all of them, who were sitting in their chairs just existing with each other. One of the nurses goes to the room of a lady who is sitting in her chair, they show a picture of a younger man with a beard, who a few minutes later is seen entering what appears to be a grandparents' care center. As he enters, the receptionist looks at the guard as if knowing what is going to happen, t immediately the guard gets up, the man's phone falls to the floor and he begins to struggle with him to get in. Large nurses go to help the guard and manage to hold him to the floor together.
They switch scenes to a courtroom, where the man is testifying that his mother shouldn't be in a nursing home and that she didn't want to go in the first place, except for a woman named Marla, who apparently forced her to go to the nursing home and auctioned off the house and is collecting the proceeds. The judge says she is a trusted caregiver recommended even by himself and when the man complains that they won't even let him see his mom, the woman asks for permission to speak and says that the lady was diagnosed with dementia and they should do what she needs to get better and not what she wants, like staying in her home alone and without care.
Marla asks to restrict her son's visitation and the judge agrees, to which Marla leaves with a triumphant smile on her face. Outside she greets a woman waiting for her in the car and tells her that she knew she would win the case, but behind her came her plaintiff, who insults her and spits in her face for lying and ruining his life, but Marla replies very upset that he is just hurt since a woman won his case and after threatening him back she drives off to her office where she pours herself a coffee and looks at a wall full of pictures of the elderly people she cares for, and marks the picture of the mother of the man she just won in court. In a call with a man named Sam, he informs her that one of his clients died so there is a new vacancy at the nursing home, she gets angry about having to pay back the money to the heirs, but offers him money so Sam will give the vacancy to her to find a client and get him into the nursing home, they do business and she rips off the picture of the man who died and throws it in the trash.
He then goes to a doctor, tells her he is looking for a new client and the doctor offers him information on a very good client but in return asks for shares in the asylum.
She agrees and is given information on a woman named Jennifer, who was in good health but had symptoms of memory loss and no living relatives, with good insurance and lives alone. Marla gets excited and then searches for more information on her end at a library.
Her partner begins to follow Jennifer and investigate her further, finding that she has plenty of money, takes care of herself and has a fully active life, to which they become much more interested in Jennifer's life and tell the doctor to turn her in as a client.
They go to the court, the doctor lies saying that the lady cannot take care of herself and that they should put her under Marla's care, the judge accepts and makes the request and Marla pretending to doubt his decision, says that she will take care of her and they sign all the papers to take Jennifer in the nursing home.
While Jennifer is at home having tea, there is a knock on her door and confused she walks to see who it is and at the door is Marla, who asks her for a moment explaining that she is a colleague of her doctor and hands her the paper with the guardianship order. The lady enters for her glasses and Marla notices that the house is quite luxurious. Jennifer leaves confused, saying she didn't understand and Marla explains to her that she is now, without her consent, tutoring her. Jennifer scoffs at the situation and denies needing help, but Marla tells her to come with her while they "fix her situation" and tells her she will get in trouble if she doesn't, Jennifer sees cops outside her house and decides to unwillingly leave to get her things just so she doesn't get in trouble while she fixes the misunderstanding.
Jennifer leaves her house, Marla snatches her keys and they are greeted at the nursing home with balloons and all the staff, Jennifer in shock and Marla happy to get her way. They close the doors of the asylum and Jennifer's new experience in a place she was forced to go begins.
