Whether you sell luxury like Luis Vuiton or you sell a universal product like Jesus Christ (evangelism), to gain market share, have and own your own unique market, like the two brands listed above. Branding isn't just differentiation by logo or colours, effective branding touches neuro-psychology. Its peak is when you begin to attract clients based on their psychology.
Put in lay man’s terms, the worth of your product is the perception of the consumer, less your product, plus human needs.
Like the differentiation between a PC and a Mac, a great product should be designed to attract their clients by their kinds, I mean by their mentality. Let's come home. Take for example, you can't find the same kind of people you find on House in the Rock, inside The Lord's Chosen, vice versa. #CreateYourOwnMarket
Like I'd always say, "every business will always take the characteristics of the owner". And then the quality and mentality of their customers. To understand this, look at the two founders (Pastor Adefarasin and Pastor Lazarus" and then ask "will a forward thinking House on the Rock person wear that The Lord's Chosen "green colour riot cheap vest" on top of his suit"? (ooops!). Don't get me wrong, these two churches are both successful, because, by their identity, they have their own individual market, and they are the leaders in it!
Hint- to win without competition, lead or own a unique part of the market by brand differentiation. At that point, your marketing becomes like magnet, successfully attracting its kinds.
