The 19th edition of Indian Premier League also known as TATA IPL 2026 started on 28 March 2026. The matches are being held across India. 10 teams competing for the trophy.
So far, 13 matches have been played. All the matches were exciting, except for one match in Kolkata had no play, as rain played spoiler.
Yesterday's match at Gauhati, had to be shorten to 11 overs because of rain. That didn't stop the excitement, 273 runs were scored in just 22 overs. Lots of power hitting.
This is what makes IPL thrilling and fun to watch.
Yes, not all matches will have high scores, but, low scores also turn out to have thrilling finishes.
Rajasthan Royals won their yesterday's match and are currently on the top of the table, followed by Punjab king (second) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (third)
It's a long tournament of 84 games, so it's early days.

Delhi Capitals has won both the matches , while Gujarat Titans have lost both their matches so far.
