We are IMEOS team, a Chinese Media that focus on EOS Community. Regarding the BPs evaluation recently discussed, IMEOS initially estimated a model based on our survey.

The indices comprehensively measure the strength and influence of BPs, while giving more weight on technical aspects. we make a brief introduction of five indicators, and take a Chinese BP--EOSTea as an example to assess the final score of the BP in third-party (IMEOS) perspective.

The model we established could only give the weight of preliminary indicators. We may give the weight of each indicator's scoring points by next report. Hence, we are looking forward to your comment and feedback for a better report.

The indices comprehensively measure the strength and influence of BPs, while giving more weight on technical aspects. As follows, we make a brief introduction of five indicators, and take a Chinese BP--EOSTea as an example to assess the final score of the BP in third-party (IMEOS) perspective.

Content Operations（Queryable）--15'

  1. Knowledge Planet：A social platform in China (most of Chinese Blockchain groups use it). Similar to Telegram, everyone can participate in discussions. The number of viewers who visit the knowledge planets and the number of comments can be used to evaluate the content influence of a blockchain group.

  2. Weibo: a social media similar to Twitter, use the followers and posts on it.

  3. WebSite: By the number of people who have registered communities and comments on the BP's own website

  4. Twitter: By the number of followers and reposts

  5. Telegram: By the scale of a Telegram chat group

  6. Steemit: By the number of posts.

Take EOSTea as an example

  1. Knowledge Planet Not Found；

  2. Weibo fans 77, Contents 14, reference: https://weibo.com/eosfanscn?refer_flag=1001030103_&is_hot=1 ;

  1. Technical tutorial: By checking whether the community has published the corresponding EOS development tutorial, and the timeliness and practicality of the tutorial

  2. Media Information: By checking the number of a community own

  3. Technical MEET UP (Hack Marathon): By checking whether have a Hackathon or technical salons are held

  1. Technical tutorials of EOSTea avialable mainly on the following two websites,

Contributions of Open Source --20'

Compared to the other indexes, the contributions of open source could be the most important index.
Contributions of communities could be assessed by contributions to open source and strength of communities. Compared with cryptocurrency trading, it will be more beneficial for development of EOS communities for a long-term.

Take EOSTea as an example

They constructed an individual test network and the number of the star is 21.

As to the server, the founder of EOSTea is the project manager of Kubernetes, who has a lot of experience of large-scale distributed cloud computing. 一个开源贡献的指标, 这个比较重要, 之前的各种指标也许很高, 也许很低, 但最终都是为了团队自己, 不能说明什么问题, 唯有开源贡献和社区能力能直接看出来团队为社区做的贡献.比起炒币, 从长远来看, 更利于社区健康发展.

以EOSTea为例

EOSTea的开源贡献主要在 https://github.com/eosfansio ，

四、技术实力--25'
