Children are gifts from the most high God. And having them is a very important life decision a lot of people strive to make. Though some people don't see it as an important decision, I do. A lot of us humans see children as a gift or blessing but also a lot of people view it as a challenge or burden. But nevertheless, the desire to have kids is a natural aspect of human life. Weve been asked as the expecting mothers and fathers to talk about the age we desire to have kids and how many we wish to have. But firstly I will like to take us through a general knowledge.
Ideal Age:
The ideal age for having children for people differ and it may be dependent on personal, financial, and emotional readiness of the person. Some may feel ready in their early twenties, while others may prefer their late twenties or early thirties. I did a research and found out a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center. And it says that;
Ideal Number of Children:
Just like I said about age, also the ideal number of children also is different based on people's preferences personally, their cultural background and how well stable they are financially. Going through the internet, I also saw a survey by the Gallup organization. And the survey says that:
Back to the business of the day. Personally I think that I'll like to have my children in my twenties. I feel young and gallant, still have that young blood flowing. My body hasn't been through a lot, stress included. A natural labour is also what I wish for, so it's the time I have the strength. I'm up and going.
Secondly, I have always wished for an ideal family. And it will not be bad to have four children 馃槍. Also, it depends on my partner too. I've not found the one yet, so for now, its a personal thinking. My mom just gave birth to two(2) and how I wished for other siblings.
But the ideal number of kids I think people should have or plan on having should be according to their capability at the moment. Its wrong to bring innocent people that you can't cater for into the world. As time goes on and things gets better with you you can bring as many children you want to have into the world.
Still a reminder that, the desire for parenthood is a natural part of life, and the ideal age and number of children will always differ based on each individuals circumstances and preferences.
