As they would say “nothing good comes so easy” so is hive, the decentralized social blockchain has really taught me a lot of things I find useful even out of the blockchain, but nevertheless I had some difficulties while starting as a beginner, even though most of it had be understood, thanks to my mentors on this blockchain that out me through most of this things.
I started this hive journey last year, when I joined my intentions were the payout, the first problem I had was moving around the site, even though I started with the PEAKD site, I find it difficult to move around the site to do some extra activities because I was having a very low resource credit, I couldn't do anything than to just wait till the RC is full so I can post and have some earnings.
The low payout was off for me, I had to just continue because of testimonies I heard from other users before me, it was time consuming and data consuming becauseI was into posting music videos immediately I joined, posting of video would consume almost all my data subscription, which did not stop me from being active.
Uploading videos on three speak wasn't encouraging then, there's always issues with threespeak almost everytime I try uploading, I would have to cancel the operation and restart over again and repeatedly.
My first earnings wasn't also easy for me trade, I never had anyone to guild me on how to send to the binance, then I never knew it was only binance that trades hive, I was using other blocktrades that didn't support hive, so I find it difficult to even claim my own earnings, I had to go for a binance training which I had to pay a token just learn.
Persistency and consistency is the key factor to success, anyone who lacks any of these will find it difficult to make it through. Even though I was going through some challenges on the platform, I never let it bring me down, atleast I could remember some of my guys we started but they're nowhere to be found on the blockchain anymore.
