After I came home from my vacation from Bandung, last Friday I lay down while scrolling through social media on the front porch of my house. While I was busy scrolling through short videos on Facebook, suddenly there was a call from Mrs. Dian. Mrs. Dian was one of the participants in the Muslimah Mothers Choir Event last Friday that I had the chance to photograph.
"Ima, because the results of your photos during the choir event were quite good. Tomorrow Saturday if there are no events, please help photograph the School Accreditation event at SMP Fauzan for documentation and a report to the Supervisor," said Mrs. Dian in a coaxing tone.
I was quite surprised and embarrassed, but I also felt honored to have received Mrs. Dian's trust. Without thinking twice because I didn't have any events, I immediately agreed.
Saturday morning, after I said goodbye and asked my mother to pray for everything to go smoothly, I got ready and went to school by motorbike with Mrs. Dian.
I arrived at school. Before the Accreditation event began, at half past eight in the morning all students were ordered to gather in the school yard for a morning ceremony led by Mr. Yasin who served as the student advisor.
In the morning ceremony, Mr. Yasin gave advice and messages to all students to work together with the teachers for the smooth running of the accreditation event and get satisfactory grades.
I started taking pictures from the beginning of the event, with full observation I tried to take pictures of important moments that I felt were good for documentation and report materials. Moments such as interviews with the principal and parents of students, presentations about the school profile, questions and answers with the Supervisory team, visits by teachers and seventh grade students and the final event of a group photo in the school field. I tried to take pictures of every moment carefully.
.
The school accreditation event at SMP Fauzan went smoothly, I felt proud to be able to be useful and gain a very valuable and instructive experience.
