When Corona Ends - My first 3 things to do

I thank theycallmedan@theycallmedan for this initiative which you can find here.

Although this situation is really out of the ordinary, I have personally been stuck at home for 44 days, I don't feel suffocated and, at least for now, more than experiencing the discomfort of the lack of freedom, I have above all realized how many of the things we did in our before life as were all in all useless or, in any case, not so fundamental.

I certainly live in a privileged quarantine, in a small town, with a garden, in a large house, with all the comforts and without that sense of claustrophobia that could cause being locked up in an apartment in a large condominium, perhaps in a few square meters, in a big city, surrounded by concrete and asphalt.

I honestly do not believe that the situation will return to normal in the short term nor that it will return to normal entirely, or rather, as it was before, in the long run.

This epidemic will be a watershed for many things in the years to come and it is not necessarily said that this will be bad, it depends a lot on us, on how we will face the many challenges that await us, some of which will perhaps be more fatal than the epidemic itself.

We could take the opportunity to build a better world, I know it's just a hope, but why not try?

We come now to the first three things that I would like to do once out of quarantine, I do not know how long these things can actually be done, but, sooner or later, I hope that we will find a new balance, so here they are:

1 - Organize a big party to see friends again.

Our house has a large panoramic terrace from which you can see panoramas like this

and this

The first party we organized at our house was our wedding, I would like to organize another one, when it will be possible, to be all together without problems, to celebrate I do not say the return to normal, but a new possible way of socializing together to our friends, maybe with a nice barbecue.

Watch a sunset like this

together with friends, this is my first wish at the end of this lonely situation.

2 - Take a nice trip to the mountains with my wife and son.

One of the things I love most is the mountains.

Sitting on a rock letting my gaze slide towards the horizon makes me feel part of the universe and reconciles me with myself and with the world.

This is something that I miss and that I hope to do as soon as possible.

3 - Going to play with the kite with my son.

I'm not sure why but seeing a kite flying, trying to make it evolve in the sky is something that I would also like my son to experience.

We never did it together, before he was too young, but I think that now that he has turned three he might like it.

Near our house there is a place where usually a nice wind blows.

I hope to be able to go there soon on a nice sunny Sunday, maybe even having a nice picnic on the lawn of this ridge that connects two different valleys.
