Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I last posted! I was really busy working most of time and spending my day offs resting at beaches near to my city.
Yesterday with my man @knowhow92 we decided to try something different and spend my day off at the Waterpark of Thessaloniki,GR. It is about half an hour from the city center, you can go by car or with the free bus that they provide. The park is called Waterland !
Here is the location:

Here is the main entrance.
The first impression of the park was really possitive, I loved all the vibe with the waterfall, those smooth rocks and the wooden bridge.
Here is the "Pirates island", a construction comprised of many slides
(easy ones for children), paths with brigdes and games and of course the pirate's head which is filled with water every some minutes and then drop the water at your head! Hehe that's pretty awesome actually!
Here is the "Crazy River" where you use a tube to cross the river. It is pretty chill but cool for a ride I guess.
These slides are not steep but they are consist of many different levels so it's like it drops you with the tube. It's really funny, we slided several times and also tried some double rides with @knowhow92 and it was hilarious!
These are the most worthy slides for adults at the water park, they are four different type of slides. The blue one is like a spiral, the red one has a zig zag form and at the end is quite steep. There is also the yellow one which is the most chill slide with only some easy turnings and the most most excitng is the white one which is a steep slide as you can see, well for some seconds you can feel the adrenaline for sure!
There were also two quite big pools where you can swim and cool yourself. One of them had artificial waves which was pretty cool, and the other one had many shady spots to swim which is awesome for the midday. I loved this big mushroom that drops water to your head hehe!
Here is a photo of us in front of the most famous slide of the park, "The Funnel". It is a big 360ΒΊ closed slide which is end up at a huge open gap where you feel like you are floating! Really awesome and funny slide but the queue was always too long so we managed to slide only two times!
Here is a photo from the official site where you can see better the funnel:

Seems pretty awesome right?π
Except from the slides, I also enjoyed the fact that there were trees everywhere at the park, so you could rest at natural shade and keep yourself cool all day! There were also 4-5 snack bars inside the park with decent prices for food and drinks!
That's all about our adventure, it was an amusing experience to spend my day off. I enjoyed every moment at the park and we will visit again for sure with friends some day!
Thank you for stopping by guys,
I hope you have a great day!π
