Messing around in the studio with some new things... it's always fun to add dirt and water and make mud. This composition is dark dirty and 100% modular. written and recorded with modular gear this piece was mixed and mastered in the box utilizing ableton and all those lovely.
I am always striving to get better at using multiband dynamic tools as it is important when working with recordings that are pre-mixed before they even hit the day. this piece was recorded as a single stereo track and then revitalized through theuse of multiband compression and expansion. lovely stuff. it tinkles it shines, but it's mostly mud and I love it.
