'Puppets Who Kill' was Comedy Network original series which also ran in Australia.
The show was a Canadian Classic! shot in Toronto & around Ontario.
The show is stars 4 puppets: Bill The Ventriloquist Dummy, Rocko The Dog, Cuddles The Comfort Doll & Buttons the bear.
The Puppets are all criminals who have been sentenced to live in a half way house with Dan Barlow (Dan Redican)
The show ran for 2 multiple year commitments, lasting 4 seasons.
The show includes episodes about Bill The ventriloquist dummys former owner coming to visit, and Bill attempts to kill him again.
Other episodes about prostitutes dressed as nuns going to hospitals to engage in sexual intercourse with terminally ill patients before they die. With Bill & Rocko pretending to be ill so they can get in on the action.
Other episodes about stealing a brief case full of money from the Mafia & slowly killing each Mafia member who come to the house to retrieve the money.
The mafia boss becomes convinced the problem is dealt with when he finds Bill the ventriloquist dummy dismembered in a suit case but dismembering ventriloquist dummys doesn't kill them!
The puppets save the money and stash it in an old air conditioner only to find out soon after that Dan had traded the old air conditioner for a percentage off the new one.
The puppets get themselves into much mischief, but you can rest assure they find their way out of it!
DVD's of each season are available for purchase online, or you can watch on Youtube.
I mainly posted this blog to jog peoples memory and remind them that NOT ALL CANADIAN television is that bad.
