It’s Sunday afternoon and what better time to listen to some music to forget that holidays over and tomorrow I get back to work.
Vaya Con Dios (Spanish for "Go with God!") was a Belgian music act, that stood out for its mixing of styles, as well as the distinctive voice of its lead singer Dani Klein. It was founded in 1986, but after 1991 Vaya Con Dios was for the most part a one woman band, centered on singer, lyricist, band leader and (co-)producer Dani Klein, reinforced by an ever-changing selection of musicians. In 2014, Dani Klein performed her last international tour under the Vaya Con Dios formula. Vaya Con Dios officially disbanded with their last concert on 25 October 2014, in Forest National.
This song comes from “Night Owls” album from 1990.
James Stanley Hall (December 4, 1930 – December 10, 2013) was an American jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. This version of Concierto De Aranjuez is my favorite comes from 1975’s album “Conceirto” . In this album Jim Hall has an all star line up of musicians and it is considered one of his best.
Ghost is a Swedish rock band, but in essence it is the solo project of vocalist Tobias Forge. I will spare all the drama and controversy surrounding the “band” and focus on the music. This is a remix that was released couple of days ago of one of the best songs from Ghost’s latest album “Prequelle” (2018), which is actually very good.
And as a bonus track the mood of day…
These are my picks for this week.
Listen to music , enjoy music …
Play loud and STEEM ON !!!
