I love afternoons.
The afternoon is the second part of the day, a period that colloquially begins around noon and ends at sunset.
People go about their business as they finish up their day.

Fish also enjoy the afternoon, when the rest of the world doesn't matter—only the sea and the fish.

How beautiful and melancholic the afternoon is!
A vast bonfire of light, the sunset burns.
