In the post-election violence in Bogra's Gabtali municipality, there have been clashes between supporters of the winning and losing councilor candidates. Four people, including a woman from both sides, were seriously injured in the incident. Two of the injured are undergoing treatment at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
The seriously injured are van driver Sabuj, 30, son of Tafiz Uddin Pramanik of Tarafmeru Madhyapara in Ward 7 and Rana, 32, son of Mohsin Ali of the same area. The injured on the other side have been treated locally. The incident took place in Tarafameru Madhyapara of Ward 8 of the municipality on Sunday afternoon.
