Momentos de calma, de tranquilidad, alegres y amenos, es lo que vivo cada vez que voy al gym. Me gusta estar allí, en mi hora de terapia, con estas chicas entretenidas, divertidas, escuchando sus ocurrencias. A veces debo callar para no caer en discusión, pero por temas tontos; es mejor dejarlas hablar, son señoras mayores, ¿para qué caer en discusión con ellas? jeje. Aparte, como dije, por temas tontos, sin sentido; por ejemplo, allí hay algunas a las que les gusta marcar sus puestos. Yo llego y me pongo donde sea, no me voy a poner a discutir por ello; lo importante es ir y cumplir con nuestra rutina de ejercicios.
Así como también discuten por qué algunas se van y no recogen las pesas, a mí no me molesta recogerlas, con tal, eso no me afecta, es cuestión de colaborar y mantener el orden, pero como dije, son cosas tontas, y a su vez, divertidas, porque a todo le sacan un chiste, y eso me hace sonreír, reír con ellas y sus ocurrencias. Entonces, como dije, este es mi momento de calma y relax.
ENGLISH VERSION
Moments of calm, tranquility, joy, and fun—that’s what I experience every time I go to the gym. I like being there, during my hour of therapy, with these entertaining, fun-loving ladies, listening to their witty remarks. Sometimes I have to keep quiet to avoid getting into an argument, but it’s over silly things; it’s better to let them talk—they’re older ladies, so why get into an argument with them? Hehe. Besides, as I said, it’s over silly, meaningless things; for example, there are some there who like to stake out their spots. I show up and stand wherever I can—I’m not going to get into an argument over it; the important thing is to go and get through our workout routine.
They also argue about why some people leave without picking up the weights. It doesn’t bother me to pick them up—it doesn’t affect me—it’s just a matter of helping out and keeping things tidy. But as I said, these are silly things—and at the same time, funny—because they turn everything into a joke, and that makes me smile and laugh along with them and their witty remarks. So, as I said, this is my moment of calm and relaxation.
