To spend is easy, but to earn can be so hard sometimes

As easy as it is to spend, it comes with a little bit of extra work to earn, so you can say spending and earning are never equivalent to each other

The only thing that can make spending worthwhile is when you spend to make profit, think that's better known as investment and it's one way you get to win both ways, spending and earning

The government is a political authority made by the people to serve the people, so in a nutshell it's put in place to make things easy for the people even with it's spending

A government is meant to spend on its people

What's use is the government if not to make life easy with all they possess for the masses

let's stop beating around the bush and hit the hammer on the nail

One important thing as an individual I believe that the government is meant to spend on is the SPORT SECTOR and so far that sector is lacking attention

Do you ever wonder why countries doing well with sports have low unemployment rates for young ones?

It's because the country is providing another means of job as a hobby which is sport and in turn gets young ones fixed, working, doing their hobby and generating money for its country

Sport goes beyond a means of entertainment but also creates purpose, bonds and social capital

it's a hidden key to economic growth

it's one way to promote foreign exchange

The remittance that comes with sport is big enough to develop a country

The government would not just get investments when they spend on sports but also help nurture talent for the world to see

Spending on sports is one wise move to get profit, help socio-economic growth, and nurture talent it's a win-win to spend on sport

The government gets back its money from selling sports kits and international recognition

As an individual, I wish the government could spend on the sports sector in which they don't but neglect

This way they help the masses and at the same time fulfill their duties

But rather they spend on things they ought not to

Yes, they do and that's spending on self-interest

spending on the self-interesting like renovation of offices, large amounts of allowances and exotic cars is the wrong motion to spend on

The government spends a lot on these things which in turn only make the masses suffer at large

Spending on self-interest should never be a government aim because it never favors the masses, there aim can only be spending on things to help because government is for the people

I believe self-interest should be ruled out by governments that way the masses well-being is put into consideration

Here is a response to the hive learner weekly topic about what the government is to spend on but they don't and another thing they spend on that is not necessary
