I guess sometimes we should always prepare for a plan B.
Christmas is a season to spend with our loved ones and most importantly share gifts it is a season of love.
My elder brother and I planned on surprising his godson and daughter. They have always want to come over during periods like this but then it either we have plans or most times we always out to go spend Christmas with our friends you know we also want to enjoy the season.
This time is different and we decided to surprise them and ask them to come over so many thoughts has been running through my elder brother and I on what to gift them as a present they are kids and we felt making Christmas a memorable one would be the best present by taking them to the mall to explore pick few gifts and have a taste of the 3D game over there little did we know sometimes things don't go as planned.
They came very early in the morning they were both excited and we offered them breakfast.
The plan was for them to eat, rest and once it noon we set out for the mall to make it a memorable one for them.
After the meal, we had a gist, talked about school and how it has been with them so far.
They gave me a full gist of how the whole term went the happy times and yes the bad times. I'm sure if they do have an hive account they would have made a post about it.
Now it was time to set out for the mall all we needed was a ride.
We decided to order a ride to make the trip more blissful don't know what went wrong but for some reasons, the ride we ordered was canceled. we tried it several time because all plan to make Christmas a memorable one for them is to start with the ordered ride
we thought it was just the first ride but then the same thing till it got to the eighth ride, then we all were fed up I could see the disappointment in their faces but then there's was nothing I could do.

my brother and I felt disappointed too but had to pull up a strong face in other to cheer them up
So we decided to play a game as they plan to leave for the mall was no more visible.
We played Scrabble and had fun, kids are smart when it comes to words you need to see how the 12 and 15years old kids were putting words together.
They did have fun but then it was not as planned.
To cover up for the disappointment we decided to give them a gift a wristwatch and perfume it was an impromptu gift we could not allow them to leave without a gift and the smiles on their faces all said thank you.
Though the Christmas with them did not go as planned but then we were able to put smiles on their faces
It is a season of love and spreading love is the priority,put a smile on somebody's face this season and make the season a memorable one to friends and family.
