During training

It was a lovely Friday morning in the office waiting for others to come for training. I was expecting 10 person's but it was only 4 that came. This four that came were marketers. I called others again to know if they are still coming but the answer was almost the thing. No money for transport.

The way you dress matters.

Our training focus was on how to dress when going out for marketing. I helped them to understand 5 important thing that helps a marketer to succeed.

• How you dress
• How you carry yourself.
• Your facial expressions.
• Know your products
• Be a good listener
  They are many but we discussed on this 5 important point.

The training really touched all of them because 2 of them always dress as they want. And they always complain of not making good sales. After the training they saw the need to unlearn what they know and relearn what will help them in life.

I emphasized the importance of dressing well, it is not about expensive clothes, it is about dressing that fit what you are doing. Imagine a banker dressing in traditional attire to work or a police officer wearing bathroom silppas on duty. Likewise a marker, t-shirt of the company has been giving to you, what prevents you from wearing it when you are representing the company outside.

Your sheo should be polished, your hair cut should be neet, wear mild perfume not the one that will scare people from you. Put a smile on your face. Because if you want people to come to you, you have to make them happy, feel at home and comfortable. They will love you and buy from you or recommend someone to you.

After the training

As usual, we had a little refreshment and they left with full readiness to do marketing. I was happy that I reached their heart. In life, sometimes one can be discouraged because of challenging circumstances. A training like this helps to bring back the good spirit in him. Each time i talk to people, i talk to myself too.

Playing with grand daughter

She was sleeping when I was doing training. The mother went to market and left her under the care of her brother. Now that we finished training, they brought her to me. I carried her on my body and she cried. I bought biscuit for her and she refused to take. I didn't know she want to sit on my table. Lol. So when i sat her on the table, she stopped crying and even collected her biscuit.

I sang different songs for her just to make her happy, we took different pictures and at last i gave her food and she went down to play. Her palava end.

By 4:pm, I went to the park to carry my product. It was waybill from Lagos State. I came back around 7:pm and that was how wonderful my day was yesterday Friday 10/03/2023
