Hellow beloved parents on motherhood Community . How are you doing. I am greatful to God for his blessings to us as parents. God has given us a precious gift to care for and that is our children. I thank you all parents for your efforts in caring for your children. Are you a single mother, Father or both of you are caring for your child, children. You are doing a marvelous work.
Looking at my opening picture, you will see bike Man with 2 kids in front of his bike. Do you know their parents do not know the the bike Man? Follow me as i tell you short story about it.
It was on Thursday morning 17/11/2022 by 8:am at Uria Ịkọt Akpabio that a young woman came out to the market with 3 kids. 2 were dressed with school uniform and she backed the youngest who is about 10 months old. She want to send her 2 kids to school but she did not dress well. So i was like, how can she take this children to school dressing like this, little did I know that she want to put them on bike and go back.
I couldn't believe it when she stopped a bike Man and told him the name of the school and the bike Man said, he knows the place. She asked how much will you collect and they agreed on the price. she put the 2 kids in the front and the bike Man shifted for her to sit, and she said no, am not going with you. Another Woman who was also watching with Interest asked her, do you know the bike Man? and she replied no but she do see him always at the market junction.
The woman said, just like that, and you handed him over your 2 young kids, what if he takes them somewhere else. What are you doing that you will not follow him to the school to be sure that your kids are safe. While all this discussion was going on, the bike Man has zoomed off. Chai!!! She lamented, what will I tell my husband if something bad happens to this children, what have I done with her hand on her head.
Immediately, i told her to enter another bike to her children school to be sure that they are in the school. And she left for her children school. Other women who came around to know what was going said that she has been doing it. I thank God the other woman has instilled in her the fear not to let her children in the hands of bike Men.
Parents should avoid allowing their children who are under 10 years to go to school alone. They should not trust bike Men, keke drivers and bus drivers hoping that all is well. One day, the story will not be too good to hear. If you don't have time, pay for school bus so that, they will come to your house to pick up your child.
Do not forget that the journey of bringing one child to this Earth is not a day journey. Ask for help. Parents should sit down to plan how to take their children to school and bring them back. It is our duty to do so or assign any other family member to do so if there is.
I will not stop appreciating you parents for all your hard work. It is a thing of joy to see our children grow to maturity. We have so much work now that they cannot do anything for themselves. We see for them, think for them, hear for them, decide for them, read for them. You can see with me that is not easy.
May God continue to bless you all. May he protect this children where our protection will not reach.
