Growing up, I had intentionally loved to be a nurse in big hospitals. I loved their looks and their shifting duty work schedules, life and it's rotational patterns didn't allow it to come to pass as I have dreamed of.
Most people think and used to refer to me as a class teacher 馃槀馃槀, I don't know why they do that. Looking at myself, I don't feel like a teacher. Though some times very long ago, I was a nursery one class teacher. That was many years ago when I was terribly searching for a job, after graduating as a human resources manager. I was in search of a job of any kind because my family financial condition was terribly bad then. I decided to work to assist my hubby to keep up with some family needs, our kids were very tender then.
After searching for a job to do without finding anyone, I resorted to becoming a nursery class one teacher for like a year. It was very tedious for me, though I had an assistant class teacher, who was helping me to organize the babies because many of them were below school ages. But they were in the classroom, after all.
Their parents brought them to school, it was almost like a day care for those parents that had their babies to be taken care of and their jobs also to keep up with too.
It was very tiring for me because most of the times I was trying to co- ordinate these kids, some will be crying, some will be sleeping, while some were being fed their food because they couldn't eat on their own, some were totally refusing to eat their lunch, just be crying looking for their mom you might be cleaning this other one kid from messed up clothes, another one would be seeking for your attention in one way or the other
Before the school day comes to an end, I would have become completely exhausted and I must report to work before 7: am the following day and to close from work like by 4 pm daily, getting home to face lots of things waiting for me to get done.
I was never enjoying the job. At a time, I decided to quit the job and started a buying and selling of clothing materials. Which I'm still involved into though not in a large quantity but Its getting shaped up gradually.
This time around, I'm on my own as an entrepreneur though I keep to the work ethics of going on time and closing on time, I have my space at work not working under pressured supervision of the owner of the school anymore. It's better and peaceful for me.
Totally, the nursing profession is my love, though I might not be able to cope up with their night shifting routine work as a married woman now, but I still love this profession.. NURSING
